As a result of the work, the technical documentation for the development of the root lava of the horizon of 593 m of formation d4 of PJSC «Mine Management «Pokrovske» was analyzed. The calculation of the expected methane release within the excavation site, the required degassing efficiency and the maximum allowable load on the treatment face by the gas factor, parameters and mode of degassing of the roof by wells, the required diameters of the pipeline. "Measures to control the degassing system by the system of the excavation section of the root lava of the horizon of 593 m of formation d4 during fires in the mine workings" were developed. The project of degassing of the excavation section of the root lava of the horizon of 593 m of formation d4 of PJSC «Mine Management «Pokrovske» has been developed.
