Purpose: to highlight features of hydrogeological regime transformations within the coal-bearing mined out rocks and minefields, that can arise due to the “Nova” mine water-pumping complex shutdown, and to demonstrate its influence on hydro safety regime maintaining within mine “Centralna” SE “Toretsʹkvuhillya”. Methods: the methodological basis is a systematic analysis of the hydrogeological settings and regularity of hydrogeological conditions formation under the coal mines closure, as well as numerical geofiltration modeling. Results: It was established that geofiltration fields with estimated local water balance usually characterize each minefield during mine workings flooding. Actual geological and surveying data made it possible to qualitatively typify water flows that can happen in mine workings according to the external forms of it origination, flow regime over time, connection with structural-geological factors and technological features of mining operations. The total water-budget inflow value within the “Centralna” and “Nova” mines areas is estimated as 450 m3/hour. Taking into account the current hydrodynamic situation, characterized by the common man-made aquifer groundwater table formation within the minefields after the "Nova" mine flooding, the connection nodes of mine workings will probably provide mine water filtration to the “Centralna” mine workings.
