Widespread use of chemical compounds in industry and everyday life creates a situation in which the human body is exposed to a powerful negative environmental impact. In Ukraine, the problems of a high level of concentration of industrial facilities with outdated energy-intensive technologies, low efficiency of treatment facilities, the consequences of various man-made accidents remain relevant. Biological pollution from agriculture (uncontrolled use of fertilizers, herbicides, etc.), production of microbiological products (feed yeast, amino acids, enzymes, antibiotics, etc.), which has a significant impact on the development of toxic lesions of the body, is also a threat. Nanoparticles and nanomaterials, which are widely used in many countries around the world in everyday life, in production, and in medicine, are becoming potentially dangerous to humans. It is known that nanoparticles have the ability to bind to biomacromolecules, modifying them, easily penetrate biological membranes and help penetrate toxicants into the cell, acting as their transporters. The question of the biological effects of nanoparticles when they enter the body together with traditional toxicants remains unexplored. In view of this, special attention needs to be paid to studies on the comprehensive study of the toxicological properties of carbon nanotubes directly, and when they are co-introduced into the body with a toxicant.
