A method for assessing the ecological efficiency of transport in conditions of temperature changes in the environment has been investigated. A close relationship has been established between the process of fuel combustion in vehicle engines and temperature inversion. The parameters of the ecological efficiency of the transport system have been determined. A study of the main criteria for assessing the quality of the transportation process in passenger transportation was carried out to provide practical recommendations to road transport enterprises that transport public passenger transport.
