To prevent the agglomeration of ZnSe nanoparticles, a set of techniques has been developed, such as stabilization of nanoparticles in the synthesis process using 1-thioglycerol and thioglycolic acid as a stabilizer. It is shown that the concentration of thioglycerol is 2.5 mmol, which allows to obtain stable colloidal solutions of ZnSe quantum dots with an average size of ~ 3.0 ± 0.15 nm. The spin-coating method on modified quartz substrates obtained samples of densely packed films of ZnSe nanoparticles stabilized with 1-thioglycerol and thioglycolic acid, the film thickness is ~ 430 nm. The morphology, composition and structure of the obtained films were studied by scanning electron microscopy.
