In many countries and in Ukraine the most common species is ragweed - an annual herbaceous plant of the Aster family, a listed species, a dangerous quarantine weed. The flowering period of ragweed - from mid-summer to early autumn. At this time, there is a sharp increase in the number of people suffering from allergies to it. The paper analyzes the modern technologies of production of existing compositions for the control of ragweed, which are used to obtain a highly effective drug. The product created at UkrNDI "Resource" allows you to highly effectively destroy ragweed with minimal financial, energy and operating costs. It is proposed to spray ragweed sprouts, to destroy it, with a special drug based on an aqueous solution of magnesium salt, sodium salt and fatty acids. With instant spraying, dangerous pollen becomes infertile and safe for allergy sufferers. During the day, when exposed to the main substance with a large amount of magnesium, the mineral balance is disturbed and the turgor of the weed is reduced, the mechanism of blocking the root system and its gradual extinction within 25 days. Using an environmentally friendly desiccant based on natural ingredients, ragweed will be eliminated without harm:  neighboring plants;  insects (bees and bumblebees);  animals;  people.
