The purpose of the work is to develop technical documentation to ensure gas safety during mining operations in the conditions of PD "Capitalnа Mine" SE "Mirnogradvugillya". Research methods – generalization and analysis of results, methods mat. statistics, calculations by standard methods. As a result of the work, the technical documentation for the development of the 2nd northern lava of the group slope of formation l1 of PD "Capitalnа Mine" SE "Mirnogradvugillya"was analyzed. The calculation of the expected methane release within the excavation site, the required degassing efficiency and the maximum allowable load on the treatment face by the gas factor, parameters and mode of degassing of the roof by wells, the required diameters of the pipeline. The project of degassing of the excavation section 2 of the northern lava of the group slope of formation l1 has been developed.
