The object of study - civil, industrial buildings and structures, traditional and non-traditional materials used in construction. The purpose of the work is to study the stress-strain state of elements of new structural systems of buildings and structures, various building materials in building structures, to clarify the methods of calculation of structures. Research methods - static and dynamic analysis, experimental studies of the behavior of structural elements under load. Results and their novelty: on the basis of the performed theoretical and experimental researches methods of designing of effective building designs are improved, alternative decisions on maintenance of reliability of buildings and constructions are offered. Main characteristics and indicators: as the main factors in the development of rational building structures was taken to minimize its own weight (cost), effective monitoring of the condition of building structures, buildings and its guaranteed safe operation. Degree of implementation: the results of the work are implemented through design in the leading construction companies of Kharkiv; used in the aftermath of the destruction of individual metal, reinforced concrete, wood and stone structures. Relationship with the educational process: a comprehensive relationship aimed at training highly qualified specialists in construction and civil engineering.
