The purpose of the work is the development of mathematical models and methods for the study and optimization of thermal and stress-strain state of structurally inhomogeneous bodies under the action of complex loads (force, thermal and electromagnetic). Research methods – methods of continuum mechanics, theory of optimal control, applied mathematics, photoelasticity. New mathematical models of mechanics and thermomechanics of structurally inhomogeneous bodies (piece-inhomogeneous and layered; bodies with thin-walled and three-dimensional inclusions; of thin-walled structural elements with defects of type of cracks and thin inclusions, in particular anisotropic plates or shells) as well as models of electromagnetothermomechanics of bodies with different electrophysical properties (in particular, of bodies with complicated magnetic properties taking into account the momentary factors of influence of the electromagnetic field) for quantitative description and optimization of thermal, mechanical and electromagnetic processes have been developed. This takes into account the thermal sensitivity, functional gradient and anisotropy of materials, as well as the specificity of thermal (complex heat transfer) and electromagnetic ( in different frequency ranges) loads. The solutions of new linear and nonlinear problems for determination and optimization of parameters that characterize the mechanical, thermomechanical behavior of specific bodies, taking into account the above mentioned factors, are found and investigated. The results obtained are relevant for assessing the strength of functional structural elements and as a theoretical basis for the creation of new materials with controlled thermal conduc  Product Description popup.authors Hachkevych Oleksandr R.
