Tadeusza Kościuszki popup.description2  The participants of the program have explored public spaces near architectural monuments on the example of cities in different countries, identified problems with the existence of ancient architectural monuments in modern conditions and the inconsistency of their location with modern norms and suggested ways to solve this problem. To obtain the results, the method of system-structural analysis was used among the well-known methods, which allowed analyzing public spaces at different hierarchical levels. Different approaches to their formation and revitalization were identified on the examples of the spaces around the architectural monuments of Ukraine, Poland and Algeria. Economic and socio-economic efficiency of work: the results of the work indicate the ways of economic use of public spaces near architectural monuments in modern conditions. Examples of historical cities, including religious sites and monuments of industrial architecture, identified a list of major problems and provided suggestions for their solution. Prospects for further development: the list of studied urban spaces can be expanded, thus providing recommendations for other examples. The research results have been published in joint scientific articles and repeatedly reported at scientific and practical conferences.
