Tadeusza Kościuszki popup.description2  Participants of the program have analyzed ways of adaptation of architectural monuments with change of function on examples of objects of Ukraine and abroad, defined methods and ways of adaptation in a complex with carrying out restoration actions, compared experience of adaptation of historical objects of different countries under new functions, on examples of revitalized proved that in many cases such measures are the only way to preserve the monument and determined that revitalization has positive consequences only when it is carried out in compliance with all monument protection and restoration requirements. Examples of the analysis of selected monuments of different functional purpose (public, industrial, religious) demonstrate the positive impact of adaptation and revitalization measures on the urban space as a whole. The results of the joint research allow us to successfully adapt and revitalize monuments of various functional purposes, which for one reason or another have lost their original function. The conclusions of the study were published in a series of joint scientific articles, monographs, reported at scientific conferences.
