The processes of electricity consumption at iron ore enterprises in Kryvyi Rih region. Purpose. To develop and improve the model and methods for assessing the iron ore enterprises electricity competitiveness (guidelines for practical classes), which improves students' skills in assessing the competitiveness of iron ore enterprises. Research methods. The following methods were used for analysis and solution of the tasks: system analysis - for generalization of previously performed researches on competitiveness of iron ore enterprises; methods of mathematical statistics - to evaluate the results of experimental studies of electricity consumption (data of Electrical power enterprises); mathematical modeling - to study methods for improving the energy efficiency of power supply-electricity consumption complexes of mining enterprises during their reconfiguration. Methods have been developed and improved: determination of energy efficiency level, determination of factors influencing forecast energy consumption indicators, optimization of equipment operation modes, determination of potential of dispersed generation sources, optimization of structures and reconfiguration of distribution networks, determination of share of each dispersed energy sources, determination of the optimal installed capacity of dispersed energy sources, determination of the optimal place of connection of dispersed energy sources to the distribution networks of mining enterprises, determination of the forecasted energy consumption capacity of mining enterprises during the introduction of dispersed energy sources.
