This method is based on the observation of the spectral lines of water masers at a frequency of 22.235 GHz using a narrow band registration mode. Therefore, it allows to ensure the maximum pointing accuracy of the PT-32, which will be not worse than ± 15ʼʼ in both (C and K) bands and, accordingly, in the lower frequency bands. After implementation of this method into the RT-32 pointing program were successfully detected at a frequency of 6.035 GHz of the spectral lines of the of the hydroxyl maser at a frequency of 6.7 GHz , at a frequency of 22.235 GHz the spectral lines of the water maser.
