Purpose: to develop effective agronomic measures for growing corn for grain in the Western Forest-Steppe based on the use of hybrids of different maturity groups to increase the gross grain harvest of corn and recommend their production. Subject of research: maize hybrids of different maturity groups. Research method - field, laboratory, statistical Theoretical and practical results: The information on the results of researches of optimal terms of sowing of maize hybrids on grain of different maturity groups is received and the most effective methods of cultivation of cultivation at application of microfertilizers and plant growth regulator in the conditions of the western Forest-steppe are developed. The results of the conducted research show that for the conditions of the western Forest-Steppe the most economically justified is the cultivation of maize hybrids when the soil temperature warms up to 10–12 ° С. When growing four hybrids of corn for grain of different maturity groups, taking into account different sowing dates, the highest productivity (9.60 t / ha) and economic efficiency (profitability level 147.2%) was obtained with the hybrid DN Khortytsia, when the soil temperature warms up to 10–12 ° C. When studying the effectiveness of new micronutrients and plant growth regulator, a positive result was obtained by pre-sowing treatment of corn seeds of medium-early hybrid DN Fiesta with microfertilizers "ROSTOK" Maize 3 l / t and spraying plants foliarly in phase 3-5 and 8-9 leaves with microfertilizers "ROSTOK" l / ha + "ROSTOK" Zinc 1 l / ha. The increase in yield before control is - 1.67 t / ha. Implementation efficiency: The use of advanced elements of corn cultivation technologies will ensure economic efficiency of UAH 650 / ha.
