Tadeusza Kościuszki popup.description2  The presented scientific research of the joint Ukrainian-Polish-Algerian study is relevant for a large number of countries, as the rapid pace of globalization and scientific and technological progress leads to changes in the perception of the term "modern public space". This problem has been particularly relevant for small and medium-sized cities experiencing a demographic crisis, the relocation of the working population to large cities, largely because young people are dissatisfied with outdated stereotypes of public spaces, so they seek something new, modern, that they are unable to get in small and medium cities. In this scientific research the experience of modern ways of revitalization of public spaces in the cities of Ukraine and Poland was analyzed, it was proved that this problem is international, so it requires the exchange of experience between experts, resulting in the determination that revitalization of public spaces has a positive impact on the city as a whole, to decrease the crime rate and has a direct economic effect. Conclusions of the scientific research allow successfully revitalizing public spaces taking into account modern needs and requirements. These results were published in joint scientific articles, in monograph and repeatedly reported at scientific and practical conferences.
