The purpose of the work is to improve the adaptive elements of technologies for growing modern varieties of winter and spring cereals, in particular to justify the adjustment of sowing dates of winter wheat and winter barley for the western forest-steppe zone, as well as the use of anti-stress drugs for winter wheat the impact of harmful factors and obtaining guaranteed levels of productivity of crops with high quality products. Methods of researches - the field, laboratory, statistical. Theoretical and practical results: — influence of terms of sowing is on the productivity of different sorts of wheat winter and barley winter. It is set that terms of western Forest-steppe of Ukraine, the optimal term of sowing of wheat winter for all sorts is on September, 25 - on October, 5; barley winter on September, 15–25. — the effectiveness of biostimulators of plant growth in the technology of growing winter wheat has been established. Treatment of vegetative plants of winter wheat with drugs Albite 0.04 l / ha + Lignohumat BM 0.3 l / ha in the phase of tillering and tube yield gave the same and the highest increase in yield - 0.70 t / ha, or 16.6% more than on control. — the effectiveness of the effect of pre-sowing seed treatment and foliar fertilization on the productivity of spring wheat was studied.
