The purpose of the work is to determine the potential threat to the health of the population of hantaviruses and pathogens of Lyme disease circulating in Ukraine, to develop methods of differential diagnosis and prevention. Research methods and equipment: virological, microbiological, immuno-serological, epidemiological and zooparasitological using appropriate equipment and verified measuring instruments. The level of the immune layer among the total population of Lviv region to the viruses of the Crimea-Congo hemorrhagic fever and hantaviruses at the level of 1.4-1.9%. Hantaan and Puumala hantaviruses circulate in natural foci. Ecological and epidemiological features of hantavirus infections in Lviv and Zakarpattia regions have been determined. Cases of the disease among the population are caused by hantaviruses of both Puumala and Hantaan. For the first time, a lethal mixed infection in humans caused by leptospirosis and hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (Puumala) was established. The optimal tactics of using geographic information systems to monitor and prevent the spread of certain natural focal infections and the algorithm of laboratory diagnostics in the form of an information sheet have been developed. A method of non-specific prevention and treatment of tick-borne viral encephalitis has been patented.
