Purpose: to determine the features of crystallization of thermoelectric materials based on Bi-Te and Cd-Zn-Sb in order to create technological methods to increase their efficiency. The use of such materials for research and development of thermoelectric power converters with new principles of their work and the creation of thermoelectric devices based on them, including for medical applications. Research methods - calculation methods, methods of object-oriented computer simulation, experimental methods of thermoelectricity, thermophysics and thermodynamics. Further generalization in the solutions of inverse problems of thermoelectricity on the basis of computer methods of devising new types of thermoelements is made. A study of the effects of chemical bond on the solution of materials science problems, improvement of thermoelectric materials technology and study of the kinetics of crystal formation. Technologies have been improved and on their basis the figure of merit of thermoelectric materials has been improved. Such materials are used to develop new types of thermoelements, including permeable ones, whereby significant improvement in the efficiency of thermoelectric power conversion is achieved.
