Gender differences and the relationship with the components of the metabolic syndrome at the stages of NAFLD development in children are analyzed. Features of the intestinal microflora (spectrum of fecal SCFA , the presence of SIBO) and lactose absorption in children with simple steatosis and NASH are characterized. The influence of the gallbladder functional state on the course of NAFLD is analyzed, the association of vascular wall stiffness with the metabolic profile and anthropometric parameters is investigated, the predictors of cardiovascular risk in children with NAFLD are identified. Changes in the apoptosis marker (cytokeratin-18), cytokine profile depending on the stage of the disease were analyzed. According to a molecular genetic study, the effect of the presence of SNP NR1H4 on the probability of occurrence and course of NAFLD in children was studied. Changes in miRNA-122 expression in NAFLD children were studied, and the association of miRNA-122 levels with metabolic profile, immunological parameters, and structural changes in the liver was analyzed. The differences of risk factors for the development of simple steatosis and NASH in children were studied, significant prognostic factors of NASH were determined, on the basis of which a prognostic table of stratification of risk of adverse course of NAFLD in children was created and a differentiated algorithm of therapeutic correction was developed.  Product Description popup.authors Grabovska Olena I Zavgorodnyaya Natalya Yu Zavgorodnya Olga Yu Zigalo Elivira V.
