The object of research were the processes of formation of productivity of corn plants depending on the level of mineral nutrition, methods of foliar fertilization, features of their interaction in soil and climatic conditions of the western forest-steppe of Ukraine. For the first time in the conditions of the western Forest-Steppe the connections between the available hydrothermal resources of the region, technological elements of cultivation and productivity of maize hybrids have been established; the process of formation of fruit elements and individual productivity of corn plants depending on the action of organized factors is described; an assessment of individual plant productivity, yield and quality of corn grain depending on the levels of mineral nutrition and methods of foliar feeding. According to the results of research, scientifically substantiated elements of bioadaptive technology of corn cultivation in the conditions of the western Forest-Steppe are developed, which are based on carrying out in critical phases of corn plant development (3-5 and 7-9 leaves) foliar fertilization with growth stimulants, complex microfertilizers and fertilizers. -reasonable rates and timing of nitrogen fertilizers. They reduce the negative impact of environmental factors on plant growth and development, contribute to the optimization of nutrition and realization of the genetic potential of maize hybrids of precocious groups and increase yields, improve individual productivity and quality of corn grain.
