The aim of the work is to create productive-quality F1 hybrids of parsley and parsnip. Investigate the adaptability of the gene pool of spicy-aromatic vegetable plants and identify sources based on a complex of valuable economic traits. Selection of parental pairs and hybridization of adaptive, early-maturing, maturing, combinationally capable lines of parsley, parsnip with a high content of valuable nutrients, suitable for mechanized harvesting, resistant to shattering, have been made, 2 hybrids, 5 lines have been created, a patent for a useful model has been obtained a method is being developed for the accelerated creation of parsley and parsnip hybrids. The sources of productivity and quality of parsley and parsnips are highlighted. The adaptability of the gene pool was investigated. A line of ordinary leaf parsley Vitaminka (adaptive, mid-season, lettuce, for conveyor cultivation, with a high content of vitamin C - 289.13 mg / 100 g) and a line of parsnips Urozhaina (adaptive with a shortened root crop 19.0 cm) were transferred to the National Center for Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine. A patent for a useful model "Accelerated method of creating F1 hybrids and varieties of biennial vegetable parsley and parsnip" was received. Selection of parental pairs and hybridization of adaptive, early maturing, combinationally capable parsley lines were carried out. Transferred to the National Center for Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine of the parsley line with a shortened root crop Korotkoplodnaya and Perspektivnaya with a total combining capacity of 114-117%. In 2018, the parsnip line of the sowing Graf was transferred to the National Center for Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine.
