Representatives of the genera Saprolegnia and Ahia are mostly found on fish, but now representatives of other families are found. S. parasitica, S. mixta, S. ferax and Achya flagella are the most common in fish, with S. parasitica predominating. In ponds and industrial farms, fungal diseases cause significant economic damage. The most common fungal diseases of fish and caviar are bronchiomycosis, saprolegniosis, mucophilosis and ichthyosporidiosis. Due to the fact that no effective means of prevention have been developed, no treatment has been proposed, the issue of combating fungal diseases and the development, search and use of antifungal drugs in fish farming is relevant.
