The results were obtained: peculiarities of inheritance of morphological and economically valuable features in intraspecies crosses and in crosses with annual wild species with n=15. Linseed variety Dobrodar (technical direction), created with the participation of germ plasma of wild species with n=15, shortened (growing period 78-84 days) (Zaporozhye bogatyr×Linum angustifolium L.), technical direction of use, with a yield of 2.2-2.5 t/ha, oil content of 51.8 %, high in linolenic acid, due to wild plasma – resistant to diseases and pests. The practical value of the results is that the introduction of a new shortened variety of linseed, created with the participation of wild species, will provide an opportunity to increase the area of cultivation under this crop due to its promotion to the western and northern regions of Ukraine, reduce the loss of products, especially from diseases, and thereby increase the profitability of the production of flaxseed oil suitable for technical use.
