Based on results of the research. For the first time ultrasound diagnosis of placental dysfunction has advanced by taking into account the morpho-functional state of extraembryonic structures and uteroplacental blood flow in high perinatal risk pregnancies during early gestation. The pathogenesis of placental dysfunction development has been supplemented on the basis of researching the condition of extraembryonic structures in women of high perinatal risk in the early stages of gestation The scientific data on the protein-producing (TBG, PAMG) and hormone-synthesizing functions of the placenta (hCG, hPL, E, Progesterone) in women with low chorionic location in the first trimester of gestation have been updated and refined. Studies of morphohistological and histochemical features of the deciduo-trophoblastic complex with abnormal chorion location and primary placental dysfunction have been further developed. Data on determining the most important ultrasound criteria for the development of placental dysfunction in early gestation in women with miscarriage, genital infection and abnormal chorionic position have been added. For the first time, an algorithm for complex ultrasound diagnosis of placental dysfunction in women at risk in the first trimester of pregnancy has been developed.
