Research methods: field research (route), atomic absorption spectrophotometry according to DSTU EN 14082: 2019; soil - DSTU ISO 11047: 2005; water - DSTU GOST 23957.1: 2006., methods of mathematical statistics. The spatial and seasonal distribution of toxic metals in the main components of the terrestrial ecosystem of Galindez Island has been studied. It is shown that the distribution, accumulation and migration of Ni and Cr, as well as Pb are different from Cd, Co, Cu, Zn, which are characterized by common patterns. The area of the terrestrial ecosystem of Galindez Island, where the diesel power plant of Academician Vernadsky UAC is located, is characterized by obvious signs of contamination of all components of Pb, Cd, Co, Cu, Zn. At the same time, there is no significant increase in the content of Cr and Ni. The main reserves of Cu, Zn, Pb (42-56%) in the terrestrial ecosystem of Galindez Island are located on the territory of Cape Marina Point. The main share of Cd, Cr, Ni, Co (63-72%) is concentrated in the terrestrial ecosystem of the main part of Galindez Island. This indicates that there is no direct link between the routes of entry into the terrestrial ecosystem and the operation of the research station. The waterway of migration from the territory of Galindez Island is the main one for all toxic metals, except Pb. For Pb, accumulation processes predominate over migration processes. The annual volume of Pb inflow to the environment due to the use of UAC Academician Vernadsky fuel is estimated at 3,427 kg with an annual migration of 0.197 kg by waterways, which indicates intense anthropogenic pollution of terrestrial ecosystems.
