Conclusions: 1. The developed method allows to identify thermal profiles of spent nuclear fuel and storage equipment more detailed. The conducted simulations gave deeper understanding of the thermal physical processes at the dry spent nuclear fuel storage in ventilated containers. 2. Numerical results shown that some factors have large influence on the thermal state of storage containers and must be deeply studied with purpose their next taken into account at safety assessment of the dry storage facilities. 3. Received engineering dependencies for the estimation storage containers thermal state under various storage conditions but they must be precised accordingly to influence factors and their probability of occurrence.
