Kukhar Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  Hydrogen forms of zeolites Y, M, ZSM-5 have been obtained. The last have been impregnated by nickel, lanthanum and rubidium. Using ion exchange under hydrothermal conditions and heat treatments of different degrees of hardness, polycationic samples of faujasite zeolites have been obtained. The chemical composition of catalysts has been determined. The physicochemical properties of the synthesized samples were studied: the acidity by ammonia TPD and pyridine sorption was studied, IR-spectral studies were performed, and the textural characteristics of the samples were determined. Determination of the concentration of glucose and 5-hydrosimethylfurfural in the reaction mixture was performed by chromatographic analysis. Dehydration of glucose (10-20% wt.) in aqueous medium and dimethylsulfoxide over synthesized samples. When converting 10% aqueous glucose solution, the yield of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural was 10-15%, while in dimethylsulfoxide - 40-50%. It is achieved the 25-35% yields using 20% glucose solutions. The samples of catalysts have been studied after their work in the reaction. Product Description popup.authors Voloshyna Yuliya G. Zubenko Stepan О. Konovalov Serhiy V. Pertko Oleksandra P.
