Experimental data on the initial rate of transport-mediated accumulation of [14C] glycine and D-[2,3 3H] aspartate, their accumulation by nerve terminals, extracellular level and release from nerve terminals by exocytosis and through reverse function of transporters were obtained. A method has also been developed to monitor the transport of L- [14C] glutamate in various in vitro models: in isolated pieces of small intestine tissue and in isolated segments of the small intestine. It was shown that the transport of L- [14C] glutamate in isolated pieces of small intestinal tissue (excised tissue) was almost an order of magnitude higher than the homogenate obtained from small intestinal tissue, and was 1.83 ± 0.14 nmol / g of tissue per 10 min. Transport of L- [14C] glutamate in isolated segments of the small intestine (non-everted gut sac) had a marked increase in time and was 2.07 ± 0.16 nmol / g of tissue per 10 minutes Under the presence of the MSO (2.5 mM) glutamine synthetase inhibitor in the incubation medium, there was a slight decrease in the transport efficiency of L- [14C] glutamate, which did not exceed 10% compared to the control.0  Product Description popup.authors Krisanova Natalia V.
