The activity of these compounds was investigated by the patch-clamp method in the "whole cell" configuration on P2X channels in HEK293 cells. Using high concentrations of compounds, in some cases, the compounds led to neurodegenerative changes and showed signs of toxicity. In a study of the effect of cholcicin on P2X channel currents in HEK293 cells, in most cases we did not find an effect of the substance on activity against these channels, or the difference was statistically insignificant and required further study. Further studies are planned to test the effect of these compounds at other concentrations.
