Their distribution on the territory of Ukraine on the basis of grid maps is established, the structural-comparative analysis of the received types of biotopes on indicators of internal heterogeneity, species richness, diversity and evenness, point values ​​of edaphic ecological factors, participation of rare and synanthropic fractions is carried out. Lists of characteristic, constant and dominant species have been compiled - separately for the entire species composition, cryptogamous organisms, background rare and synanthropic, including invasive species. Sozological assessment of biotopes according to IUCN criteria and integrated assessment of the scale of changes, sozological significance and risks of losses was performed. Based on the conducted research, the types of biotopes that need protection at the national and European levels have been identified and the factual basis for the research planned for the next stages of the project implementation has been prepared.
