Crystalline grains of stilbene and p-terphenyl of different sizes were obtained too. We obtained single-layer composite scintillators of stilbene and p-terphenyl with grain fractions L: 0.06–0.1, 0.1–0.3, 0.3–0.5, 0.5–1.0, 1.0–1.5, 1.5–2.0 and 2.0–2.5 mm; composite and polycrystalline scintillators of stilbene and p-terphenyl 5 mm in thickness with grain fractions L: 0.1–0.3, 0.3–0.5, 0.5–1.0, 1.0–1.5, 1.5–2.0 and 2.0–2.5 mm. Studies of the relative light output and optical transmission of composite scintillators with different grain fractions have been carried out. It has been shown that for the samples with grain fractions of 0.06–0.1 and 0.1–0.3 mm, the values of the relative light output and optical transmission are extremely low. So, for further production and study of bulk (20 mm in thick) composite samples we will use crystalline grains with size L more than 0.3 mm. Product Description popup.authors Halunov Mykola Z.
