In order to achieve a high level of competitiveness of the national economy, the concept of development of energy efficient and energy independent rural areas will be developed. The proposed concept is based on the use of alternative energy sources for the needs of personal farms and ensuring the stable operation of rural infrastructure. The project will involve the development and implementation of a systems approach for the transition from a traditional energy supply and energy supply system to modern and efficient management using local alternative fuels. Implementation of the measures proposed as a result of the project to study local alternative energy sources in the development of rural areas, will provide significant economic, social, environmental and energy effects. The economic and social effect of the implementation of the concept will be the creation of additional jobs in places for procurement, processing and delivery of energy raw materials; conversion of energy consumption costs into investments for one's own region; improving the social security of the population; expansion of rural production infrastructure, etc. Among the environmental and energy effects that will be achieved, it is appropriate to highlight: reduction of environmental pollution; rational use of natural resources; use of land free from agriculture for growing energy crops; restoration of soil fertility and agricultural biodiversity; attracting investors in bioenergy and organic agriculture; dissemination of experience among other regions of the country.
