COVID-19, SARS-COV-2, PATIENT HISTORIES, COMBRED PATHOLOGIES, TREATMENT The object of research - patient histories, comorbid pathologies, changes in the composition and biochemical parameters of the blood during hospitalization, treatment of patients. The purpose of the work - to analyze patient histories and identify the main comorbid pathologies that could be the cause of death as a result of COVID-19 disease; analyze changes in the composition and biochemical parameters of the blood on admission and immediately before death, compare treatment with approved protocols. Research methods - analytical and systematic (systematization and analysis of the stories of deceased patients, their functional indicators of respiration, general, biochemical indicators of blood), methods of mathematical statistics. An analysis of 80 deaths from COVID-19 was performed. It is established that the duration of the disease from the onset of symptoms to death tends to decrease with increasing age of the patient. It was found that the main independent risk factors associated with mortality from coronavirus infection along with gender and old age are comorbidities of the cardiovascular system, namely: chronic coronary heart disease, hypertension, heart failure and other pathologies such as such as diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and malignant neoplasms. It was found that neutrophilia, lymphocytopenia, significant increase in erythrocyte sedimentation rate, aspartate aminotransferase, creatinine are prognostic markers of the severity of coronavirus infection in patients of both sexes, especially in the elderly and in the presence of concomitant pathology. The analysis of the treatment showed significant discrepancies with the approved treatment standards, in particular the Protocol №762 of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine "Provision of medical care for the treatment of coronavirus disease (COVID-19)" of April 2, 2020.
