Purpose: collection of available air quality monitoring data (satellite and in-situ) for Ukraine, in particular for the city of Kyiv, to create geospatial models and information technologies for satellite monitoring of smart city problems, including the urban atlas, which will be the basis for digital city monitoring services ; to integrate Copernicus data and services in the smart city monitoring area and to train for the implementation of services that will become available to Ukraine. Research methods: methods of air quality assessment and building of Copernicus Urban Atlas based on in-situ and satellite data. The results obtained: An analysis of existing services and systems, methods for assessing air quality and urban growth based on satellite data is performed. The methodology of building Copernicus Urban Atlas is analyzed and a catalog of products available for Ukraine that can be used to solve the project problems is analyzed. A directory of available data sources is created. Sentinel-5p, MODIS and CAMS data are downloaded, processed and placed in the AWS cloud storage. The available in-situ data for Kyiv city are collected and placed in the AWS cloud storage, their transformation from a point tabular format into a vector geospatial format ESRI Shapefile are performed.
