Based on the analysis of the state of water resources and demographic situation data, forecasts of irrigation needs, water use for domestic and drinking needs, use of fresh water for industrial needs, as well as scenarios for the development of the situation with water resources are made.Proposals have been developed to improve the environmental situation in the issue of water resources in accordance with the strategic development priorities of the Kirovograd region. An assessment of the state of waste management in the Kirovograd region for 2012-2018 was also carried out, including analysis of existing landfills and landfills in the territory of the Kirovograd region, the dynamics of the formation and elimination of unauthorized landfills, and a comparison of the dynamics of waste generation with other regions of Ukraine. A preliminary forecast of the amount of municipal solid waste was made taking into account the population of the Kirovograd region for the period until 2030 according to three scenarios (optimistic, average and pessimistic option).
