The aim of the work is optimization of the design of the detector system for search for the double beta decay of 106Cd nuclei; estimation of the background conditions in experiments with bolometers based on molybdate crystals and cadmium tungstate crystals; calculations of the efficiency of effect registration in experiments with 150Nd, 184Os, 190Pt. Research method is the modeling and measuring of the background and of the energy resolution; optimization of detectors for gamma-ray detection; selection of materials for optical light-guides, for passive shielding, for photomultipliers and for other elements of detectors; calculations of efficiency of registration by bolometric and semiconductor detectors for alpha- and beta-particles. Results: the design of the set-up for the study of double beta decay of the 106Cd nuclei was developed; preliminary data on the spectrometric characteristics and background level of the detector system were obtained. Simulations of backgrounds of bolometric detectors based on crystals of molybdates and cadmium tungstate were performed; the efficiency of effect registration was calculated for experiments on search for double beta processes in 150Nd, 184Os, 190Pt nuclei using of high-pure germanium semiconductor detectors. The obtained results will be implemented in the next stages of the project for the study of double beta decay of 106Cd, 100Mo, 116Cd, 150Nd, 184Os, 190Pt nuclei.
