The results of the study and their scientific novelty: deepening the conceptual foundations of the study of innovative processes in the field of health care and substantiation of promising areas of innovative development in the field of medical services; the priority principles of innovative development of the system of medical services in Ukraine and the world on the basis of the concept of smart health care are determined; recommendations for further development of public-private partnership mechanisms in the healthcare sector of Ukraine are proposed; Theoretical and applied aspects of introduction of diagnostic-related groups as an innovative direction of reforming the system of financing the sphere of medical services in Ukraine are substantiated.
