Bare root perennials turned out to be most sensitive to Banvel, monocotyledons - to Axial and winter and spring dicotyledonous weeds – to Derby. A direct relationship between the phytotoxic ability of agrichemicals, crop weediness and wheat productivity has been established. Technological crop protection schemes, which are based on the combination of selective herbicides comprising such active substances as prosulfuron, dicamba, pinoxaden, florasulam and flumetsulam, prevailed over others in terms of grain yield (3.96 - 4.02 t/ha). The economic acceptability of agricultural practices was determined by the degree of their influence on the phytosanitary status of crops, wheat yield, and the cost of agrichemicals. The weed control systems, which provide for the application of combined synthetic products based on sulfonylurea derivatives, benzoic and arylocanecarboxylic acids (Peak (0.015 kg/ha) + Banvel (0.2 L/ha) + Agrolip surfactant (0.3 L/ha), Logran (0.006 kg/ha) + Peak (0.015 kg/ha)) were the best in terms of cost advantages (8969 to 9433 UAH/ha) and profitability of production (70.7-72.9%).
