An analysis of the body's regulatory systems functional activity state in different periods after exposure to stress factors was performed. The research was devoted to determining the role of different levels of regulatory mechanisms in ensuring the adaptive-compensatory restructuring of the body under the action of stressors. In a series of complex studies, the object of which were sperm plasma and spermatozoa, the peculiarities of the functioning of ion-transport systems, the course of free radical processes and disruption of antioxidant defense systems in spermatozoa of infertile men with different forms of pathospermia were studied. The biochemical mechanisms of spermatozoa dysfunction under conditions of oxidative stress are clarified and the degree of affinity between changes of separate biochemical parameters is established. The results obtained by us have both fundamental and practical significance. They deepen existing views on the disruption of biochemical processes in the sperm of men with pathospermia, which reveals new approaches to the treatment of such patients and the development of new pharmaceuticals. At the same time, the obtained results are of great practical importance for the development of new therapeutic strategies in the treatment of male infertility.
