It has been established that on the ignition curves forthe complex geometry electrodes with a non-constant gap there are long horizontal sections, which greatly facilitate the creation of plasma in technological systems. The conditions of ignition of HF capacitive discharge in acetylene are determined, which will allow more efficient deposition of polymer coatings in this discharge.It has been shown that in a bipolar pulsed discharge with the help of the filling factor (duty cycle) it is possible to change the axial structure of the discharge and combustion modes, to redistribute the voltage between the electrodes and to control the flows of positive ions on the processed materials.
