Methods: abstract-logical, theoretical generalization, terminological analysis and formal logic, structural-functional, statistical-economic, comparative analysis. Results. The impact factors of the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictive measures on the agrarian sector, agri-food markets and food security are systematized. The socio-economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictive measures on the domestic agrarian sector and food security were assessed in the following areas: production of agri-food products, sales, investments, efficiency of economic activity, employment. Methodological bases of studying the impact of quarantine measures on the development of the agrarian sector and guaranteeing food security have been developed. 1 article and 2 abstracts at international scientific and practical conferences were prepared. Scientific novelty: in-depth scientific and methodological bases of systematization of impact factors of quarantine measures and spreading COVID-19 pandemic on agrarian sector and agri-food markets by identifying ten groups of stimulants and disincentives, exogenous and endogenous effects, which allowed to define synergetic effect of their interaction; methodological principles for researching the impact of restrictive quarantine measures on development of agrarian sector and agri-food markets by substantiating the optimal research tools, highlighting the most informative indicators were develop.
