Solving problems of numerical and experimental determination of mechanical characteristics of anisotropic materials. Research methods - numerical method of identification of surface constants of composite plasticity; method of constructing the function of isotropic hardening on the basis of finite element analysis of periodically repeated volume of the composite. Experimental method based on the measurement of heat released by cyclic deformation of rubber-like material to estimate its dissipative parameters. A theoretical model of composites plasticity for an equivalent orthotropic body is constructed. An algorithm for obtaining parameters of numerical modeling of an experiment to study the processes of heat generation in cord-rubber composites under cyclic loading is proposed. Fiberglass samples are studied and their elastic and damping properties are determined by calculation and experimental methods, and the models of internal friction are compared with experimental data.
