(Lupinus) 168 and 359a can be used for Tn5 mutagenesis. At the same time, strains of R.leguminosarum bv. trifolii BK103, BK210 and Bradyrhizobium sp. (Lupinus) 400, 371a, 367a, 176, 373a are not suitable for Tn5 mutagenesis due to non-compliance with the requirements for resistance to marker antibiotics. As a result of insertional Tn5 mutagenesis of clover rhizobia BH7, BN9, 348a and lupine 168 and 359a and verification of the obtained transformed cells on the basis of stability to marker antibiotics, 220 mutant clones of clover nodule bacteria and 60 Tn5 mutants were selected. The frequency of occurrence of Kmr cells depended on the genotype of nodule bacteria involved in Tn5 mutagenesis and was for strains BN7, BN9, 348a, 168, 359a, respectively, 10(-7), 10(-7), 10(-6), 10(-7), 10(-9).
