The purpose of the work is to improve the quality of tillage machines and reduce the cost of their field testing. The paper reviews the indicators of existing international, state and industry standards, which showed the level of requirements for modern and promising tillage machines. The program and a technique of field tests, and also the equipment for their realization are developed. Based on the conducted field tests, it is proposed to improve the cultivator stand for continuous tillage. The conducted researches allow to predict at introduction in manufacture of increase of productivity of experimental cultivator for continuous tillage, reduction of expenses of means for process of field tests.
