Physical properties and applications. popup.stage_title Head Nazarenko Vasyl H., Registration Date 18-12-2020 Organization Institute of physics of NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 The aim of the research was - (1) to establish the basic physical properties of new types of orientation order in chromonic liquid crystals, to study phase transitions and elastic characteristics; (2) development and control of structures, properties and dynamics of behavior of complex liquid crystals in a wide range of spatial scales of length, and especially in those on which the studied structures appear in the macroscopic world, for example, through interaction with biological organisms. The influence of morphological heterogeneity of bacterial cell populations on their motility in anisotropic media - lyotropic chromic liquid crystal (LCLC) was studied. It was found that changes in the effective viscosity of the environment do not affect the speed of movement of large bacteria with a developed system of flagella, in contrast to small bacteria with a small Reynolds number, Re << 1. A theoretical model of Raman-Nat self-diffraction in thin nonlinear optical media is developed. The obtained theoretical formulas allow the use of Raman-Nat self-diffraction in the two-beam wave interaction as a new method for determining nonlinear optical constants in thin samples. The influence of collective trampoline ion-plasma sputtering on the surface properties of metals, insulators and semiconductors has been studied. The surface structure, composition and structure of films obtained by spraying on a trampoline of different targets (metals, ceramics, silicon and carbon) were studied. A nanoscale surface structure was obtained, which provides extremely strong film adhesion. During the project implementation, modern experimental methods should be used to ensure the elucidation of the relevant physical mechanisms of the processes and in the conditions of the required purity of the studied objects. Methods that ensure sufficient accuracy and reliability of the results have been used in theoretical research and computer calculations. Product Description popup.authors Iljin Andrii G.
