The reduction of these indicators can be achieved using the proposed design of the batch feed mixer, made in the form of a horizontally arranged cylindrical body with a combined mixer, which consists of a section of screw tapes and flat blades along the periphery of the mixer with left and right angles, the working surface of which is located under 45°angle to the shaft axis and equipped with radial fingers. Theoretically, the condition for the movement of the feed mixture along the axis of the mixer is established, the basic structural and technological parameters, the algorithm and the calculation model of the functioning of the proposed two-stage mixer are substantiated. It is proved that in the process of mixing the feed, the intensity of the flow depends on the attacking surface of the blades both in the direction of their rotation and in the axial direction of the axis of the mixer shaft. A program and experimental research methodology, as well as equipment for their implementation, have been developed. Based on the theoretical and experimental studies, the rational structural and kinematic parameters of the proposed mixer are determined, the influence of the physico-mechanical properties of the feed and the functional parameters on the dynamics of changes in the uniformity of the mixture and energy consumption on the feed mixing process is studied. The studies carried out make it possible to forecast a 1.3-fold increase in the productivity of the experimental combined belt-blade feed mixer ЗКО-Ф-3,0 by a factor of 1.3, and a decrease in energy consumption of the mixing process by 1.2 times.
