The calculation method has been improved and adapted for numerical modeling of the processes of long-term deformation of the NPP nuclear reactor shield. The calculated analysis of the temperature field and stress-strain state of the shield taking into account thermoelastic deformations, radiation creep and radiation swelling is performed. The level and zones of maximum deformation for 60 years of operation are established. An analysis of the place and time of possible occurrence of a macroscopic defect in the fence is performed. Verified predicted dose dependences of steel swelling for both fast and thermal reactor conditions. The influence of implanted argon on swelling of austenitic stainless steel Х18Н10Т is determined.
