Expeditionary visits were conducted to take samples of biological material from wild birds during the autumn migration and wintering of the 2020-2021 season in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. Virological studies of biological material from wild birds of 13 species belonging to the genera Anatidae and Rallidae of the ANSERIFORMES series, as well as the Laridae family of the CHARADRIIFORMES series, which was also selected during the national migration and winter seasons 2020-2021 and the season 2020-2021. According to the results of virological studies, 29 hemagglutinating isolates were isolated from wild birds. All viruses were isolated from mallards in the Kherson region during autumn migration and wintering. According to the results of serological identification, it was found that 2 isolates belong to the influenza virus subtype H1, 6 isolates to subtype H4, 1 isolate - to H2, 2 isolates - to subtype H2 / H5, 4 isolates - to subtype H1 / H2 / H5, 1 isolate - to subtype H1 / H10, 7 isolates were classified as avuloviruses of birds of different serotypes, 6 isolates were not identified in HI test. In order to study the molecular genetic properties of orthomyxoviruses, the biological properties of 25 influenza viruses isolated in 2019-2020 were restored, the selected genetic material (RNA) was sent for sequencing to the Friedrich Löfler Institute, full genomic sequencing of orthomyxoviruses was isolated. from wild birds in Ukraine in 2010-2014; Phylogenetic analysis of influenza subtypes H7 by genes M, NP, NS, PA, PB1, PB2, as well as influenza subtypes H2 and H9 by hemagglutinin and neuraminidase genes, which allowed to establish the affinity of Ukrainian viruses with viruses circulating in Western Europe (Netherlands, Sweden), Georgia. It was also found that some genes of Ukrainian influenza viruses are related to Product Description popup.authors Kolesnyk Olena S. Rula Oleksandr M. Stegniy Anton B. Tkachenko Semen V.
