The aim of the work is to develop a new principle of color separation of the image and to create specialized software for dividing any color into two primary and white colors with the subsequent display of a full-color image on LED display.Efficiency of the transformations RGB to WRGB is verified on the designed WRGB module. Methods – original analytical methods for RGB-to-WRGB transformation using the developed software package "True Color Display" are developed. Experimental confirmation of the transformations’ efficiency was performed on CAS 140 CT 151M Spectrometer with an integrating sphere ISP 2000 (2.0 m). Results – techniques for determining visual color coordinates of subpixels of primary colors and white light of the LED-display in the system of human color vision. Based on the determined coordinates (RVis, GVis, BVis) of the primary colors, the matrix MVis of the color space of the LEDs is obtained. Based on the matrix and original analytical calculation methods, the color separation into two main colors and white light is performed. A software has been developed that transforms image colors from RGB to WRGB model. The main functions of the software are a) reading data on measurements of subpixel illumination energy, normalizing and building spectral curves of primary colors; b) determination of MLED, WLED matrix coefficients, construction of LED RGB color space; c) color conversion from RGB to LED WRGB model. An experimental verification of the energy efficiency and spectral characteristics of the base colors was performed, which showed that the obtained values correlate with the results given by software.  Product Description popup.authors Buluy Oleksandr H.
