A method of automated fractodiagnostics of high-strength titanium alloys and steel pipelines has been developed, which allows to identify elements of the network of viscous separation pits, to determine their number, shape and specific weight of coalescence within the analyzed area. A method for identifying viscous separation pits by processing a digital image of thefracture surfaces has been proposed. Using the developed method of shock-oscillating load, new data were obtained of increase the impact strength, crack resistance, hardness of sheet high-strength two-phase titanium alloys. These results can be directly used in the design of modern equipment and special equipment, including protective plates of modern bulletproof vests. Tests of the influence of dynamic non-equilibrium processes on the strength and plastic properties of titanium alloys and high-strength tubular steels in the initial state and after the previous shock-vibration load are carried out. The geometries of the structure of structures and fractures of the studied materials are compared, the influence of inhomogeneity of structures on resistance to destruction is revealed, the essential role of cooperative influence of different-scale structures on the evolution of destruction and its energy intensity is established. This allowed us to formulate objective requirements for the allowable heterogeneity of structures that provide a high level of resistance to fracture. Optimal modes of shock-oscillating load are offered, which allow to provide high operational properties of plates of body armor in real conditions.
